Job Overview:
We seeking a skilled and experienced Lead React Developer to lead our front-end development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with React.js and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications. As a lead, you will guide and mentor the development team while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the front-end development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to React developers.
- Design and implement high-quality React.js applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to define the scope and requirements for new features and projects.
- Develop and maintain reusable components, libraries, and tools that can be shared across projects.
- Ensure high code quality by implementing best practices for coding, testing, and version control.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members to ensure code consistency and adherence to standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into the development process.
- Collaborate with DevOps and backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and other services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any technical issues that arise during the development cycle.
- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure code reliability.
- Manage and coordinate team activities in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development with a focus on React.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proficient in working with React hooks, state management (Redux or Context API), and building complex components.
- Solid understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong proficiency in using React Developer Tools and other debugging tools.
- Excellent understanding of cross-browser compatibility, web standards, and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Enzyme.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with server-side rendering.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and its integration with React.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques in React apps.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
